BALTIMORE CITY COURT.June Term, June 12th, 1*40.Present, Judges Brice, Nesbit, and Worthing-ten.Henry Devclin, assaulted Jesse Sumwalt, his wife, and George H. Bowen. He was imprisoned one week for eaeh of the two first, and declared not guilty on the second.Eliza Butler, negro, was indicted for felony— and declared not guilty, on a pica of insanity.William Hutchins, a negro, was sentenced to be sold ten years, for felony.Geoigc Williamson was fined §10 and costs; James Maguire, for assaulting John C. Patrick, was declared not guilty.Elizabeth Grant, wm fined $20, for keeping a bawdy house.Rebecca Grant, waa found not guilty, for a similar offence.Angeline Grant, was fined $20, for the samej Mary Ann Law, for keeping a bawdy house.— The jury had not returned a verdict.Jacob Griffith, a negro, stole a hog and shoat, from Jacob Boury. The jury rendered a verdict of guilty.
