Work will begin on the new Ballard hospital and clinic as soon as the weather permits, according to Dr. L. G. Bal lard, who has let the contract to C. E. Lewis of Fort Worth. Plans were drawn by C. C. Chromaster, the architect who drew the plans for the Meth calls for a one story struc ture covering 3800 square feet of floor space. It will be fire proof, made of finished tile, with steel window frames. The present building hous ing the Ballard Clinic will be moved to the location across from the city hall and will be used in connection with the new structure as offices and for the care of our patients. The new hospital will have ac commodations for fourteen patients in addition to two operating rooms, utility and storage rooms.
