MRS. AMOS HETHfcRI.NGTON.Manchester. Ia.. June 13.—Special: Mrs. Amoa G. Hetherington, 70, a resident of Delaware county practically her entire life, died at her home here Friday, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held from her late home .Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock, in charge of Rev. J. Frank Moore, of the Manchester Community church, j and burial will be made in Oakland cemetery here.Helen Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Martin, was born near Haaleton, la. Jan. 23, 1861. When a small child she came to Delaware county with her parents, where she lived until her marriage in Missouri to Amos G. Hetherington on Jan. 1. 1879. They lived in Kansas for aj short time and in the same year re-] turned to this county and bought a farm, known as the Harry Porter farm, where they farmed until they came to Manchester in 1896, since their home. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary here two years ago. Mr. Hetherington ; died here Feb. 3. .1931.Surviving are one son. Maurice G ,; of this city; one daughter. Mrs. Grace Glanx, of Seattle. Wash.; one granddaughter. Mrs. H. J. Maaack. of St. Paul. Minn.; one brother, T. C. Martin, of Speed. Kas ; and three sisters. Mesdaroes J. M. Hare of Del-phos.
