DEATHSFrom the Belleville Telescope:Camille Duclos.*Mr. Camille Duclos died at the Augustana hospital, Chicago, at 3:00: p. m., Saturday, June 1, 1918, aged | 02 years, 4 months and 26 days. He was born in Kankakee county, III., January 25, 1856, and grew to man- e hood in the county of his birth. J ^ In 1880 he came to Concordia, Kan., jand was engaged in business there for 25 years. Then went to Talmo, Kans., where he operated a general merchandise store. He is well known over, the northern part of Khnsas, having resided in Republic and Cloud counties for over thirty-five years and while engaged in his business undertakings he made a great many acquaintances and frientls,Mr. Duclos lost his health about two years ago and went to Excelsior Springs, Mo., to recuperate and regained his health temporarily. He then went to Valparaiso, Ind., where one brother and two sisters reside. About 60 days ago he was operated on and since that time continued to grow weaker until -the end came.He is survived by two sons, Orville G.. of Manhattan, Kans., and Frank L., of Chicago; one brother, Joseph, and two sisters, Mrs. Delina Barnes and Mrs. Delda G^iture of Valparaiso, Ind.Interment was made in the Maplewood cemetery at Valparaiso. The pallbearers were friends of his young manhood days. Rev. J. M. Gelston of the Valparaiso Presbyterian church conducted the services.
