It is supposed that he intended, in his drunken fury, to beat Penter again for haviug threatened to shoot him.The district attorney, on examining the premises the next day, found the bullet which had passed through Daniels’ body lying on the floor of the house, so the evidence seems conclusive that he was shot inside, alter breaking the door down to reach Pen-ter.Penter was discharged from custody Wednesday morning. —El Dorado Ke-publican.1 A prompt, pleasant, good remedy
