ASSABET VALLEY BEACON — THURSDAY, JUNE 13, 1974Flea Markets, Antiques Shows Highlight Week-EndWESTFORD - The beautiful weather nf last week-end certainly was an asset to plans of the West ford Rotary and the Westford Historical Society, for their annual Giant Flea Market and Antique Show, respectively. The Flea Market was held at the Lewis Field on Route *110,came to this grand fair put on as art annual event by the Westford Historical Society. Local Minutcmen members had an area set up in the center of the Foinnion to promote their membership drive. At present there are only :*o members of this imporian organization.where an unusually large and these menhirs hope to gain number of booths of all kinds another too, dotted the area with an array of items of such variety that it would be impossible to mention them all. A few of (hem were am auction, jewelry sales, antiques. plants, paintings, ceramics, and pony rides for the kiddies. Members of the Committee who worked so hard to make this Market a success are pleased to announce that it certainly was just that!On the Common, items of rare antique beauty were displayed tor those attending to admire or purchase.
