Death Claims Mrs. Kathryn Thomas*Mrs..Kathryn Thomas, 73, died at he home of her daughter, Mrs. J. F. Low, at Cedar Rapids, at 5:15 a. m. Sunday after an illness of several months. iShe was born May 14, 1362, in a Jog caibin at East Amana, where she spent her girlhood days. She was the daughter of Florian and Kathryn Stancel who came to this country in i860. In 1882 she was- married to John V. Thomas and they (moved to a farm in Linn county, seven mileis south of Cedar Rapids, where she lived until 1911. She then moved to Cedar Rapids where she resided until she moved to California in 1929, making her home with her daughter, Mm William Zimmerman, at Anaheim, until a month ago.Mrs. Thomas was a member of the St. Wenceslaus church of Cedar Rapids, and of the Z. C, B. J. organization here, She is survived by five children: Mrs. William Zimmerman of Anaheim, Mrs. Frank .Vondra of Konigsmark, Mrs. James Low and Mrs. William J. Phelan of Cedar Rapidst, and William F. Thomas of Springville, She also leaves seven grandchildren: Milo and Richard Mit-valsky, Allbia and John Vondra, Edward Tehel, Kathryn Low and Mrs Merle Miller.Funeral services were held Wednesday at 8*.lt;30 a. m. in the Low residence, Cedar Rapids, and at 9:00 ir the St. Wenceslaus church conducts by the Rev.
