Banquet and Reception Attended by Many After Service. A largely attended wedding was solemnized in the Hellenic Ortho dox church Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, when Miss Helen Filan drinos, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Filandrinos, 1011 Center street, became the bride of George J. Drivas of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Drivas, who are living in Greece. Ferns and candelabra decorated the church for the service, which was read by the Rev. Father Pap pas of Sheboygan, Wis. years White Satin. The bride wore an ankle-length gown of white satin trimmed with orange blossoms and culminating in a three-yard train of lace. Her long veil was of tulle, cap-shaped, trimmed with rhinestones, pearls and orange blossoms. Her slip pers were of white moire, and she carried a bridal bouquet. Her fa ther gave her in marriage. The matron of honor, Mrs. Chris Christie of Minneapolis, Minn., wore egg-shell satin, ankle length, and her accessories were in rose color. Miss Jane Filandrinos, attending her sister as maid of honor, wore blue crepe, ankle length, fashion ed on simple lines, with white accessories. Bridesmaids were the bride’s sister, Miss Angeline Filandrinos, in white tulle with green accessor ies; her cousin, Miss Catherine Va kos, in blue chiffon with white ac cessories; and Miss Spay Voorlas, in white tulle with pink accessor ies. Their bouquets were of peo nies, roses, baby’s breath and lark spur. The little flower girls, in yellow and blue organdse, respectively, with matching hair ribbons, were Catherine Filandrinos and Mary Gliatas, who strewed rose petals in the path of the bride. Little Teddy Filandrinos, brother of the bride, in white linen with white acces sories, was the ring bearer. Charles Poulos of Marinette, Wis., was the best man. Ushers were Peter Filandrinos, James ‘Drivas and A. Drivas, Banquet and Reception. Approximately 200 attended the banquet and reception which fol lowed in the church hall, where decorations were in pink and white. Following a wedding trip through northern Wisconsin, Mr. and Mrs. Drivas will make their home in Wisconsin Rapids. Among those attending the wed ding were guests from Minneapo lis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Kenosha, Stevens Point, Waupaca, Marinette, Wisconsin Rapids, and Pekin, III.
