Local Girls Graduated Cum Laude at WilsonRuth Evans and Mary Stouffer Honored; Elizabeth Lees and Amelia An derson Also GraduatedTwo Pottstown girls were graduated Cum Laude from Wilson college, Chambersburgr, yesterday. They are Ruth Bliem Evans, daughter of Burgess and Mrs: Jesse R. Evans, Prospect and Franklin streets and Mary Isabelle Stouffer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Stouffer, 1000 North Charlotte street.Miss Evans, who received her B. A. degree, was a member of the Freshman chorus, choral club, college orchestra, classical club, riding club and took part in May Day pageants.Miss Stouffer also received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a member of the Freshman chorus, class stunt, technical editor of “Billboard” staff; member of Omega Theta literary society of which she was secretary in her junior year and chapter chairman in her senior year and member of the International Relations club. She took part in the May pageants.Miss Elizabeth Lees, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lees, 203 Rosedale drive, received her B. S. degree. Her school activities included: class stunt, class hockey team, winner of a “W” in hockey, basket ball squad and chemistry club.Miss Amelia A. Anderson, Boy-ertown. a graduate of Pottstown high school, received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She was a member of the Freshman chorus, riding club, choral club, Kittochtinny Players, workshop, college orchestra, music club, French club and International Relations club.The oration was given by Miss Grace Abbott, who is in charge of the Children’s Bureau. Washington. D. C. Miss Abbott received her L. L. D.From Pottstown those who attended were Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Stouffer and daughter Elizabeth; Burgess and Mrs. Jesse R.
