Baldy, a merchant and prominent citizen of Cool-idge, died Sunday afternoon, after a short illness of typhoid pneumonia.The deceased moved to Cool-idge from Cairo. He lived here• r Ifor several years and was well and favorably known. He was a nephew of Mr. Walter Davis, of the Cairo Banking Co. and had other relatives in the county. He was in Cairo about two weeks ago in excellent health. He came to bring Mrs. Baldy, who was quite ill, to Dr. Walker’s sanitarium for an operation. He returned home and soon was taken ill and grew steadily worse. His wife was unable to0E2)assYlt;go to him until the day before he I thisdied, which makes his death unusually sad for her.The remains were interred in Moultrie Monday afternoon.C33.T3gejj*«ecd€K0auraMr.'and Mrs. Jessie M. Sellers. Miss Pearl Mooi^e and Mr. R. R. Webb, of Whigham, returned first of the week from an auto tour to North Georgia. They visited relatives at Gainesville and Carnersville spending a short while in the principal town along the route.
