The Lake Linden ball team administered defeat to tbo Baraga boys Sunday last, the score being 3 to 2.The game was a very line exhibition of base ball, the opposing teams being evenly matched. About 75 rooters * accompanied the visiting team, the tug Valerie having been chartered for the occasion. The Raragas will play a return game at Lake Linden tomorrow. The game will doubtless illustrate hot ball, and will likely be among the best of the season. The Lake Lindens suemknl in getting a couple of oew players for their team before last Sunday a game, in the persons or Messers. Marlel and Tiger, front Rhinelander, Wls., which strengthened the aggregation considerably. The long expected coon additions to the local team arrived this week. The new arrivals are John T. Johnson, pitcher; VascoGraham, catcher, and George Hopkins, second base. Another addition to the Baragas is Buck Wester, third baseman, who arrived from Calumet this week.
