The game was a very tine exhibition of base ball, the opposing teams being evenly matched. About 75 rooters accompanied the visiting team, the lug Valerie having oeen chartered for the occasion. The Hnragas will play a return game at Lake Linden tomorrow. The game will doubtless illustrate hot ball, and will likely be among the beat of the season. The Lake Lindens sueeeded In getting a couple of new players for their team before last Sunday's game, In Uio persons of Messers, Martel and Tiger, from Rhinelander, Wis.t which strengthened the aggregation considerably. The long ex peeled Meoon*’ additions to the local team arrived this week. The new arrivals are John T. Johnson, pitcher; VascoGraham, catcher, and George Hopkins, second base. Another addition to the Baragos is Buck Wester, third baseman, who arrived from Calumet this week. Peter Mcrcicr, of Greenland, who performed excellent work for the Bar-agas behind the bat at lost Sunday's game, will doubtless hold down that position at Lake Linden tomorrow.Mrs. Halkirk, of Laurium, will be in Baraga Monday and Tuesday, June 15th and Ultli, with a tine display of millinery.
