Hot Sulpukr Springs.—On Wednesday last, in company with Dr. T. T Ames, Judge Me Garvey ami M. IX Wilson, we made a flying visit to these eeJebratedd springs, located some fourteen miles north-west of this place.— These springs are now owned by Dr. T, Af. Ames, wlio is building himself a comfortable residence preparatory to removing Ins family there, and intends, in a short lime, to make arrangements for the reception and proper accommodation of visitors who way come eitherfor pleasure or health. The water of the main spring has been tested, both by analyzation and experiment, and found to contain healingproperties superior to any other known springsin the world, for various diseases, including that worst of all ills—rheumatism. For ourself, we can only say,'wo never enjoyed so delicious a luxury, in the way of a bath, in ourlife, f*s we experienced there. We reeommeud thoso afflicted with chronic diseases to try it. We saw Judg? Henry tfere, who. .assures u* tlmt no other remedy relieves him so much of a scrofulous affecuon with which he is afflicted, as these baths.3
