—The Lord Construction Company of Pittsburg fe just about finishing the concreting on the remaining stretch of the four and one half miles of improved highway out of Milesburg borough eastward through Bald Eagle Valley to Bolter's crossing near 1ft Eagle. All but the last mile into Milesburg is now in use. More than a mile has been cut from the distance by the relocated highway which eliminates many twists and tt|rns and a dangerous hill. During the building of this new highway which began the first of last July, traffic has been uninterrupted and no bad detours had to be made, traffic being taken for the most part by the use of the old highway. The improvement is very marked and forms an important link in making the Route 64 through Bald Eagle Valley, an all-important highway. The concrete pavement gives the appearance gt Mc.iknt (ftoclt; of work.
