Fassett String Trio, with whom are Bob Palmer and Monte Hall, are spend-\ing a few days in Las Vegas and vicinity on an independent tour in theinterest of Mr Passetfs new publication for the Hawaiian steel guitar.All of the personnel of the quartette are well known throughout the entire country and recognized as artists of exceptional ability in both their instrumental and singing numbers.Arrangements are also made for the Passett Trio and the two song ui i birds to appear at the Kiwanis club meeting Wednesday where they will demonstrate the playing of the steel guitar as used by the native HawlIans, and feature some of the latest song hit numbers coming out this season composed by Bob Palmer who will appear in person throughout the tour.The people of Las Vegas and vicintiy are assured of a real evenings entertainment Wednesday night when these artists will apear at the Lorenzl pavilion, for the American Legion Post and furnish dance music which 1« today becoming an outstanr’ - feature with the Hawaiian instruments and music.
