Taken Direct From Wires By Correspondents of the United States Press Association. Canton— Altho Michael O'Neil, a railroad watchman, confessed killing Louis Novak, 48, the shooting was ac cidental. O'Neil reiterated today as authorities questioned him further. O'Neil made his confession late yes terday relating how he and Novak were driving to the former’s home when the watchman drew a revolver and shot at a ground hog. Mansfield —Of the 154 applications for parole considered by the state board of clemency, 100 were granted, 52 were continued and two prisoners were ordered released to federal au thorities today.
