The groom was attended by his brother* Henry, and the bride by heV sister, Anna. After the ceremony at the church the newly married couple repaired to the home of the bride’s mother where a bountiful breakfast awaited them. They were the recipients of many useful’gifts as a token to show the esteem in which they were held by their many friends. The day was spent in feasting and rejoicing. The groom is a boh of Mr. and Mrs. John Ocken and was born and raised in this vicinity and is an honest, upright young man. He is employed in the W.-T. Joyce lumber yard. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Gerhard Schaa and was born and raised' in this vicinity and is one of our most highly respected ladies and has made scores of friends with whom she met.
