The edifice was nicely decoratedw ith a floral arch and bell ; also the in itials of the happy couple were suspended on the arrh. ’the building was crowded with friends and spectators. The Kcv. J. A. S. Williams was the celebrant. The parties were Margaret Jane Muriel Car* thew, filth daughter of Mrs. H. Carthcw and the late Mr, Henry Carthew, of T.in-tanoola. who was united to alter Christiau Barnwell Haines, fourth son ol Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haines, of Tania-uoola. Tlie bride was attired in cream silk, trimmed with silk net and insertion, with pearl rosettes on the should-ders. The train was trimmed with cream silk insertion and ribbon roses, which was held by the irambearcrs. Tin* bride also wore the veil and wreath of orange blossoms. Miss Angelina Carthew, tho bride's sister was chief bridesmaid. Sha wore dove colored silk voile, trimmed with grey silk net and insertion. Mis. Eflie Haines, sister of the groom, was second bridesmaid. Her dress was creain cashmere, trimmed with silk net and insertion. The bride and bridesmaids earned shower bouquets. The trainbearers were Miss Ethel Haines, nricc of the groom, who wore pale blue crepe do chine, trimmed with allovcr lace, and carried a basket ol flowers, and Master Roy Garland, the bride’s nephew, who worn cream rordcroy velvet, and carried a shepherd’s nook. The groom was sup ported by his brother, Mr. Hanford Haines, ami Mr Albert Curthcw. brother of the bride. The bride was given aw«v by her brother. Mr. J. H. Carthew. of Hcachport. After the erremonv an ad-£jC? tbe Institute was made,where afternoon tea was partaken of. and the usual toasts honored. In tho evening the festivities were continued in the shape of games and dancing. Tho supper was held in the show building. Tilings were kept going mcrrilv untiljust after midnight.
