Old Jim, the veteran horse who is to , have an honored place in the pro -ession to-day is twenty-seven years old and ia the property of Major Thomas J. Cheno- ' weth, who at one time commando 1 the * 10th Kentucky Mounted Infantry and later the 13th Kentucky Cavalry. He 1 was in more than thirty battles and bore 1 himself under fire us gallantly as did his gallant muster. He is to be ma le an hon- J orary member of the Confederate Asaoci- t ation and his picture is to be filed among ' the archives of the society.
