BY C.J. MARSHALL (570) 888-9652 The Daily/Sunday Review ATHENS — An Athens man suspected of burglarizing his par ents’ home was arrested recently on multiple charges relating to the inci dent. Athens Borough police reported Daniel B. Rinebold, 18, of 102 E. Vanderbilt St., has been charged with burglary, theft by unlawful tak ing, receiving stolen property, pos session of a controlled substance, and possession of drug parapherna lia. He is suspected of entering the home of his father, Lawrence Rinebold, and stealing several items. Lawrence Rinebold told police that his residence had been entered during the night of June 7, and he suspected his son had been the per petrator. He said a check and sever al caffeine pills had been removed from his wife’s purse. Later, police received informa tion that Daniel Rinebold had cashed a check at the Chemung Canal Trust Co. in Waverly, N.Y. He was later stopped and arrested along Maple Street.
