Wilton — Funeral rites for the late Charles R. Long of Cedar county, whose death occurred Wednesday, were held at the Trinity Evangelical and Reform ed church at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Rev. J. M. New gard officiated, A mixed quartet composed of Mrs. Carl Lauer, Mrs. Lloyd Dick inson, Elwood Hain and F. S. Chapman, accompanied by Mrs. Louis Marolf, sang “Rock of Ages,” “Face to Face” and “Some time We'll Understand.” Golden Rule lodge conducted the Masonic service at the grave in the Roch ester cemetery, where burial was made. The pallbearers were George F. Marolf, Frank Marolf, Bert Wit mer, Frank Hinkhouse, Orville Ford, W. S. Wildasin. The flower attendants were Mrs. Charles Mc Coy, Mrs. Earl Woods, Miss Eva Marolf, Mrs. Frieda Merrick.
