In* noticed that both doors were open. Thinking that Dick Snyder, Mr Kipp s hired man, win* in the barn, Jackson stepped inside the door and was surprised to see the body of a man hanging from a Warn near one of the feed hoses. After a hasty glance, Jackson ran over to the house where Dick Snyder liven and informed him, and both came over to the barn togetherThe hanging man proved to be Thomas Pam*-Us, an unmarried man about 32 years of age, whose mother, Mrs. Ihirton, lives between Sparkill and Tap pan. The young man was dissi-paled and very unsteady, and there is no doubt that his drinking led him to take his own lifts A few years ago ho wu - struck by a train between Tap pan and Closier and had one arm taken off. His father, John Porsctls fell off the Palisades while hunting, some years ago, and was killed.Pars oils hung himself in a well-planned, systematic manner. He secured a rope, climbed upon a feed box and with only one arm fastened an end of the rope to the beam above him. He made a slip-noose in the other end of the rope, put it over his head and around his nock, and then slid oil the feed box into the air, where ho was subsequently discovered.
