City Couple,jDaughter DieIn TornadoI0I rSHREWSBURY, June 10—An elderly Worcester coupleand their daughter of North-boro were killed yesterday when the tornado struck their car on Route 20, near South street here, as they were bound for Worcester. The car was., lifted up by the winds and!* landed upside down.Dead are:1THOMAS W. HOWE. 80. of.; 17 Eureka terrace, Worcester, i lt;i CECILIA (MeGRAVEN)'! ! HOWE, 70, his wife.MRS. RUTH C. CARLSON, 38, of Maple street, Northboro.The victims were on their way home with another daughter, Harriet, wife of Frank E. Loving of Worcester, who suffered minor injury and later was discharged after treatment1, at The Memorial Hospital, Wor- J ccster. jSurvivors of the parents, be- '. sides Mrs. Loving, are a son, ‘ John E. Howe of Rochester, X.,Y.Mrs. Carlson leaves her husband, C. Sture Carlson; a son. Bruce W. and two daughters, Beverly M. and Barbara R. Carlson, all of Northboro.Funeral arrangements arc in charge of the Stephenson-Le-land Funeral Home in Northboro.
