Sunday pastor of the roles M etho dist church at Rochester, Ind. has been appointed to fill the pulpit of the Delphi Methodist church. He will replace Rev. W. Merlin a in January, 1943, Del phi . Who was assigned by Bishop Titus Lowe to the pastorate Rev. Briggs is a native of Elgin, Mil, and is the son of a Methodist Aetire though he has two brothers active arch services as ministers. While a student, he has held pulpits Bend, Chesterton, Lebanon (5 years), Terre Haute (8 years). Tm past years he and registrar of the Board of Min isterial ‘Training The Briggs’ family includes two sons, Frank Jr., who is director of the Community Chest at ‘Terre Haute and John Phillip of Detroit who will be graduated from the Wayne Medical school on June 17. Both young men are married and have famures of their own. Rev. and Briggs will move to the seal parkas within the next few days.
