According to figures just given out by Building Inspector William Dever, of York township, during the month of May 184 permits were issued, call ing for an expenditure of $446,950. Out of the total permits, 91 were for dwellings, costing $391,200, 67 for ad ditions, and alterations costing $30, 700; 55 garages, $11,350; two stores, and four removals. For April, 237 permits were issued, for a total of $698,350, and for May last year 208 permits were issued calling for an ex penditure of $390,300. Latest permits show that the build ing, as in previous months, is going on all over the township, and a great majority of the permits call for a fine class of buildings.
