Nell Pickerell, or “Harry Allen,” as she styles herself, now being held at the county jail, was given a prison hair cut Thursday by John C. Hindle, recently convicted of killing his baby while drunk. Nell dresses as a man. “Shave?” asked Hindle when he had finished trimming Nell's raven locks, “No!” exclaimed the young wom an, peevishly. And she stamped her foot.
