Mr. Crowell was bom in Uu»ou county, near Monroe. He came to Charlotte several years ago and engaged in the lumber trade and was in this business up to the time of his death, lie was a quiet un assuming man, always strictly attending to business aud was gieatly admired by a host of friends in this city.The deceased was 39 years old. He leaves a wife and three childreu, two brothers Messrs W. M. and M. E. Crowel' and a sister Mrs. T. N. Pyron of Monroe. The funeral services will be held from the residence this afternoon at 6 o’clock Ilev W. W Hays of Trvon Street Methodist church will conduct i he services. The interment will be iu ElmwoodCharlotte Lodge No.. 83, (Knights of Pythias of which the deceased was a member, took charge of the body after the services at the house.
