A Dosen Business Buildings Burned —Lows $60,000. OAKLAND, OF., June 10.—A fire start ed here jo «edloon about 1 o'clock the morning, and in two hours caused a lows of $60,000, asl there were bo ade quate means of fighting the flames. Eleven wooden buildings and one brisk, all occupied by business firms, were consumed. The principal losses are estimated as follows: E.G. Young Co.’s warehouse burned and store building damaged, $15,000; partially In sured, W.T. Turner Co., merchan dise stock, $12,000; insurance, §3000, A. F. Brown,no store buildings and warehouse,$10,000; no insurance. Mr. Young, brick store building, $5000; no insurance. Baker Howard, saloon building and stock, $3000; insurance, $750. John saloon, $1800; in surance, $300. B. R. Beckley, building in course of construction, $4,000, Ump qua Lodge, I, C O. F., $1000; Insurance $400. Smaller foyers will make the to tal loss about $80,000. Farmers in the vicinity lose worth on wool stored in the burned houses. The origin of the fire is not known.
