Sword to General Taylor.The New Orleans Picayune states that the Louisiana House of Representatives, on the 26th ult., “ in a spirit according with its previous acts of patriotism, passed a resolution appropriating $500 for the purchase of a sword, to be presented to Gen. Taylor, for and in behalf of the State.'’
