WILL GARNETTServices were held yesterday for Will Henry (Count) Garnett, 53, of Chicago Heights. Mr. Garnett was found dead in his apartment Saturday.The Rev. James R. Flint, pastor of the Union Evangelistic Baptist church, officiated at the service. Burial will be today at 10:30 a.m. at Washington Memory Gardens cemeteryA resident of the local area for 40 years, Mr. Garnett was born February 6, 1924, in Hopkinsville, Ky. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II.Mr. Garnett is survived by his wife, Sarah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Garnett; three daughters, Mrs. Madeline Carey, Mrs. Roxanne Pass and Nina Garnett, all of Chicago Heights; two sons, Curt and Lance, both of Chicago Heights; a sister, Lawana Cobbs; and 11 grandchildren.
