The cafe owned and operated by Mr. and Mrs. George Power since last August was sold to Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Weldon of Sanborn. The Vanity Beauty shop owned by Earl Ness of Mankato and operated for two years by Frieda Stelter became the property of Mrs. Daniel Schramm, wife of the operator of the Sanborn theatre. Miss Stelter has accepted a position with Muriel’s Beauty shop at Tracy.John Hageman, Ervin Hensch and Beatrice Edgar, students at the University, will return this weekend to spend the summer.Mrs. Minor Fischer and son Jackson of Huron, S. D. arrived Monday for a short visit with Mrs. Fischer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Heydlauff and family-Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hensch of Princeton spent the weekend with relatives and friends here.
