♦-----------LIGHTNING BLASTS TERE *During the rain storm recently a large cottonwood tree on the Oluf Sewalson farm near Linn Grove was struck by lightning and was so badly demolished that all that remained was a stump about fifteen feet high. The branches and therest of the tree were reduced to small chunks and splinters and some of the pieces wero thrown about 200 £=et from thei tree. The tree stood within a- hundred feet cf the Sewalson home and two window lights were broken in the house.
