For the past week the Democrats of this town have heen all broke up, and some of them have felt like kicking themselves and others for electing their candidates for thlt; town council. Mr. Wm. Schwier’s time having expired as school trustee, and he being the only Democrat on the school Hoard, and the councilbeing Penmeratie, it was generally supposed they would put another Democrat in his place, but instead, they elected John St. Flair, one 01 the most radical KepublieauH in town and the good and faithful Democrat? were counted out under a- Democratic administration John Hillen-hrand lias been loudly accused of being to blame for the mistake, but whether he is accused rightly or not we are unable to say
