Eastward the fitar of Emigration Takes Its Way Toward Silver Grove. It will doubtless be a long time before a chance will again be given to persona of snmmall means to procure themselves a home on the very liberal terms now being offered by Morris McDonald, in thegate of Silver Grove lots. This subdivision is located just east of the city limits, and is platted with wide streets and alleys, lies high, and has fine drainage, these grounds being fifty feet higher than the ground upon which the court house stands. A large number of lots have been sold in this popular plot, and it now looks like a little city, dotted all over with beautiful homes. These lots are fast being taken up, as the price they are being sold for is undoubtedly very low, and we predict that in les than five years they will bring five times the money that they are now being sold for. Mr. McDonald has but one price and that is four dollars per front foot, and it is proving to be a very popular way to sell lots, as every lot sold adds value to the next. The old saying ‘‘Westward the Star of Emigration takes its way,” will not hold good in this city. The emigration here is almost entirely toward the east, and We predict that in the next five years five houses will be built east of Vincennes street to every one west. No better invest iment can be made than to buy property while it is still cheap in the growing part of this city.
