An Icelandic Newspaper.—A type foundry in St. Paul (says the New York World) has lately furnished the types for the JBramvavi, an Iceland newspaper, to be published in the Icelandic colony at Keewatin, on the Red River, in British territory, about 60 miles from Fort Garry. This will bo the first newspaper published on the American continent in the Icelandic language, The preparation of the types required the greatest care. They are in the Roman character, but with a great many peculiarities in regard to accentuation, and are of a very antiquated form. The Icelandic language is something like the Norwegian language as it was spoken about 1,000 years ago.
