ICE HOUSE — A 54-year-old Clear Lake man working on a road project near Silver Creek Campground was killed Monday afternoon when a bulldozer ran over him, according to John Walshaw, fire chief of the Pol lock Pines-Camino Fire Protection District Details are sketchy, but it is be lieved that William C Thomas ei ther was thrown from or fell from the bulldozer at about 1:30 p.m It is speculated that Thomas then got caught between the bulldozer track and the frame, and was crushed when the bulldozer continued to move . When an ambulance and squad from Pollock Pines-Camino arrived at the scene, they found Thomas dead, according to Walshaw. Information from the county coro ner’s office was unavailable at press tune Tuesday.
