Weekend visitors in the Tor Keeter home were: Mr and Mrs Veryle Keeter, Muskogee; Mr and Mrs Joe Dale’ and Mrs Dolly Dale, Tulsa; Mrs Babe Williams, Che cotah; and Mr and Mrs Ronald Henson, Springfield, Mo, Miss Kimberly Keeter, Bristow, in spend ing the week here. She is Frank's oldest daughter. Lee and Mak Dalton of Pleasan ton, Kan., spent last week with Scotty Baird. Ronnie Ritchie returned home Tuesday from the University Hos pital, Oklahoma City. He is much approved. Shorty Baird visited Curtis Baird Sunday. He found him gain ing strength rapidly and his mind completely clear. Mrs Flora Baird visited Satur day with Mrs Bun Dobbs. No “Silent Spring’ here; birds are more plentiful than ever before even, though trees and crops are sprayed and dusted regularly. Tom Clinton, Westville, suffer ed face lacerations and a broken arm in a one-car accident Monday afternoon about 4:30 on US 62, ap proximately six miles west of Westville. Clinton is reported to have run off the roadway for some 224 feet before his pickup crossed the pave ment and struck a small embank ment on the north side of the high way. He was thrown out of his truck, landing close beside it. He was taken to the Stilwell Municipal Hospital.
