Torielll of Newton, chairman of the scholarship committee.Shrewsbury High Student Wins OSIA ScholarshipGuido D. D’Alessan'dro, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred F. j D’Alessandro of 36 Bailey street, Shrewsbury, senior class I president at Major Beal High School, Shrewsbury, was awarded a scholarship by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, j Order Sons of Italy in America, yesterday at the Flamingo' Restaurant.Eleven other scholarships were awarded at the state meeting of the Junior division of the lodge. Funds for the scholarships are provided by the adult lodge for seniors of Italian descent in Massachusetts high schools.D’Alessandro will enter Holy Cross College in September.At Major Beal . High School, he was a member of the Student Council, National Forensic League, Junior Red Cross, and the Hi-Y. Last March he represented the school at the State House on student Good Government Day.
