Austin WAVES. recruiting office is to remain open through out the month of June, it was announced yesterday by Lt. (j.g.) Lucille A. Schoenfeld, officer in charge. The office is located at the Central Plaza hotel, 321 N. Central ave., and was opened at the start of the drive that was carried on here during the month of May. Decision to keep the headquar ters on “active duty” was brought about by the goodly number of applications that have come in recently and the fact that the campaign in this com munity did not really begin to gain momentum until the third week of May. Some twenty appli cations are on hand, awaiting final processing, while new ap plications in the last weeks have been mounting gradually. Assisting Lt. Schoenfeld at the WAVES office are Daisy McClure, Sp(R)3c, and Ted Phee, Pic. The office is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays,
