MINERVA VAN DE MARKTAKEN BY DEATHFuneral services for Mrs. Minerva Van De Mark were held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the United Brethren church in Manlius. Burial was in the Tampico Memorial cemetery.Mrs. Van De Mark passed away at 3:40 Wednesday afternoon at the home of her daughter. Mrs. Mary Brown of Manlius. She had been inpoor health for many years and on April 27th suffered a heart attack. She'was a patient at the Home hos-Npital in Sterling for two weeks and alter her return to Manlius suffered two strokes.Mr. and Mrs. James Arnold, Mrs. J. H. Woods and Mrs. Clarence Gaul-rapp of Tampico attended the services at Manlius.Minerva Van De Mark, daughter of Andrew W. and Sarah E. Arnold, natives of Pennsylvania, was born at Buda on Sept. 9, 1S68 and passed away May 31, 1944 at Manlius.She was united in marriage to Fred F. Van De Mark on Nov. 24, 1SS7 at Tampico. To this union were born seven children: F. Vernon Van-De Mark of Prophetstown, Mary Ellen Brawn of Manlius, J. Marion Van-De Mark of Ohio, M. Ethel Kohn of Milwaukee, Wis., L. LaVonne St. John of Dallas, Texas, F. Fern Vail of Colorado Springs. Colo, and De-Ette Van De Mark. The husband and DeEtte preceded her in death.She leaves to mourn her loss besides her children, four grandsons: Cpl, Paul I j. and Allen Van De Mark, Van Mark and A1 Jr. St. John and a sister-in-law.
