Channers Die In CaliforniaWord was received in Fruitland this week of the death of Marvin Channer in Palo Alto, California, Monday from the effects of an operation for appendicitis performed Sun day. The same , message contained the news of the death of Wm. Channer, a brother, who was killed in an auto accident Friday on his way to his brother’s bedside from his home in Santa Barbara.Both men are well known in Fruitland, having lived here for several years—Marvin Channer owning and operating the garage now owned by W. F. Boal. Mrs. Channer is a daughter of C. 0. Grimes of Ontario and a sister of Mrs. Henry Tussing of Fruitland.
