W. T. BERRY TAKES MISS MAI TIE CARNEY AS HIS WIFE AT CARNEY HOME, W.T. Berry and Miss Mattie Carus were married at 10:30 Sunday morn ing at the home of the bride's, parest Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Carney. Rev. R. Barcus of the First Methodist church solemnized the union in t o presence of only the immediate rela tives of the couple. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Berry left to Dallas. Mr. Berry is manager and propr ier of the Berry Cleaning establish ment, and is known throughout a business section of te city. He i s C. T. man and served in the srs during the war. Mrs. Berry is a Vernon high school graduate, and has done work in th North Texas State Normal at Denton For the past three years, she has been a teacher in the Bonrland*® and East Vernon schools. She has also taken part in Sunday school and church work in the Methodist, of which she is a member. Mr. and Mrs. Berry will make their home at the corner of Maiden and Mesquite streets upon their return from their wedding trip.
