Hedges in Which Mrs. Hedges charges Mrs. Belcheur w.ith having alienated the affections of hfer husband Dr. Ralph Hedges and for which she demands damages in the sum of $25,-000 was filed In the office Qf the clerk of the court last Friday, the answer being in the name of John F. Belcheur who was recently appointed guardian aid litem for Mrs. Belcheur who, it is alleged, is insane as a result of the charges against her.The answrer though a short one indicates that Mrs. Belcheur’s people are going to fight the case to a finish and some sensational testimony will certainly be forthcoming if the caseis ever brought to trial.After admitting the general statements found in the complaint with reference to *ttoe professional calling of Dr. Ralph S. Hedges and of his having been called to attend Mrs. Belcheur while she was ill in the Schroetier- hospital in this city, ths answer- denies each and every'allegation of the complaint concerning any improper relations with Doctor Hedges. It is denied that the plaintiff, Maud S. Hedges, has suffered damages Jn the sum of $25,000 or in anysum whatsoever bJrHt-all. ~It is stated as a matter of fact that the plaintiff has property to the value of $8,750 ai# that her debts amount to $.7,620, a part of which is secured by mortgages and a part cf w'hich is unsecured. -The reply alleges that Dr. Ralph S.
