Beverly Ann Peer and Anthony De wayne Lee were united in marriage May 26 at the home of the bride’s parents in LaGrange. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Peer and the groom's mother is Mrs. Dazer Mason of Erie, Pa. Dr. L. C. Mitchell performed the 5:30 p.m. outdoor ceremony in front of an arch entwined with purple and white flowers and white wedding bells. Dennis Clayton of Pine Bluff, uncle of the groom, played ‘‘The Lord’s Prayer’’ on the organ. Vocalist Ms. M. Anderson sang ‘“‘We Just Began”’ and “I'll Never Love this Way Again’’. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a long white gown fashioned with short sleeves with a low neckline and gathers in the back. She wore a white hat with a veil of illusion attached at the crown and she carried a bouquet of purple and white carnations. Miss Linda Nash of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Lisa Allen of Pine Bluff and Miss Shelia Owens of Chicago, Ill., niece of the bride. They all wore formal length lilac gowns. Little Miss LaShana Peer of Chicago, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Clente Taylor of Los Angeles, Calif., nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Best man was Melvin Clayton of Pine Bluff, uncle of the groom. Groomsmen were Wayman Peer of LaGrange, brother of the bride, and Ricky Jasper of Pine Bluff. Ushers were Andre Peer of LaGrange and Jeffrey Owens of Chicago, Ill., both nephews of the bride. The mother of the bride wore a street length light lilac dress with spaghetti straps and matching jacket. The groom’s mother chose a tan suit with brown accessories. RECEPTION The National Guard Armory was the setting following the ceremony for a reception. A white linen cloth draped the serving table which was centered with a floral arrangement in lilac. The wedding cake, decorated in shades of purple and white, was served by Miss Linda Nash and Miss Lisa Allen. Miss Edna Peer of Chicago, sister of the bride, served punch. Assisting in serving were Mrs. Cornelius Owens, Mrs. Fred Mobley, both of Chicago, Mrs. David Switzert of Little Rock, Mrs. Cleophus Taylor of Los Angeles, sisters of the bride. Mrs. Floyd Buford was in charge of the guest book. For travel the bride wore a white knit suit with black accessories and jewelry. The couple make their home at Ft. Dix, N. J., where the groom is a lieute nant in the U.S. Army. REHEARSAL DINNER The rehearsal dinner was held at the home of the bride-elect’s parents on May 24. Hosts were Miss Linda Nash, Miss Lisa Allen and Miss Phyllis Sargent. The bride-elect wore a beige blouse and brown flared skirt. She presented her attendants with necklaces of simulated pearls. Special guests other than members of the wedding party were Mrs. L. Ander son, Mrs. L. C. Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Heir. Guests were seated at a table laid with a white cloth with a floral bouquet in lilac and white. The menu included shrimp, salad, macaroni and cheese and punch. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Dewayne Lee
