The First Methodist church of La Grange was the setting for the 3 o'clock wedding ceremony on June 9 uniting in mar riage Ann Bernice Montgomery and Robert Louis Gerteis. he odandle rine enaremane was performed by Dr. Lester Minion. . Ann, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forest Montgomery, 18 Seventh ave, LaCrange, dies as her attendant, 0 Miary 9 Lynn Smith of Wood River, as maid of honor Madeline Noble and Dianne Breymeyer of La Grange. ‘ As the guests were arriving for the ceremony, a prelude of organ music was played by Mrs. Edward Hendrickson. Miss Ja nice Geschwind of Ransom was the vocal soloist. Greenery and white bows milked every other pew end on the center aide, Candelabra Were crested with pink and White Passers and greenery and there were large arrangements of white flowers at the chancel rail. The biidgroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry H. Gerties, of Wichita, Wan, had his brother, Charles of Wichita as best man. Ushers were another brother, James Getties and Sam Mont- Bomery, a brother of the bride. The bride wore a lovely gown of silk faced peau de sole with bodies of alenean lace. A band of alenean lace edged the hem of the bouffant skirt. The but terfly elk illusion veil was held in a pearl and crystal tiara and the bridal bouquet was of car nations and stephinmotis. The onbteociants were dressed alive in the solk shanting sheaths with petal overskirts. They had matching crowns and carried bouquets of carnations in shades of pink. Mrs. Montgomery, the moth er of the bride, was dressed in a pink embroidered lace sheath with scalloped over bodice. Her hat was of pink rose buds and she had a pink rose corsaie. The bridegreen's mother wore a blue linen sheath with matching shoes and white ac cessories. Her flowers were pink rose buds. The reception was held in Fellowship hall at the church. Among the friends who visited were Mrs. Grace Tho and Mil ler of Zion, guest bool and Mrs. Marjorie Brickhson THetherng ton of Pittsburgh, Ma. After a honeymoon in the south, Mr. and Mrs. Gerties, will be at home in Champaign. The bride attended Lyons Township high school and Jun ior college and has her bachelor of science degree from the Uni versity of IHinsis mrt will re ceive her a masters in bene economics education thiement. She is a member of Kappa Del ta, education heneratry. The bridegroom is on geraduate of Wichitas university and dines his masters degree from the University of Ilinois. He is a member of the American Cheam ical society and the American rocket society.
