CALIFORNIA (FHTNC)—Mike Hight, radarman second — class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. High of 335 West Belton, is serv ing aboard the guided missile light cruiser USS Topeka, which took part in Exercise Park Barrel, a 10-day Navy training operation which began May 14, off the coast of Southern California. Some 25 ships and 20,000 men of the First Fleet were in the exercise which centered around a fast carrier striking force op possed by submarines and air craft. At-sea replenishment from various types of supply ships was another feature of Pork Barrel.
