‘The corner grope laying service for the new home of the Second Lapttat Church (colored) now under construction on tha north side of Michigan street, nesr of Indiana avenue, will be observed at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. B. Z. Price, pastor of the church, will be in charge and the colored K. of FP. and Masonic orders will participate. The effifice will be the finest ever ereet ed in Indianapolis by members of the negro race. It is to be of classic design and of prick construction. It will ta ke frontage of seventy feet on Michie street and will be sixty-three feet deep. The first floor will be used for Sunday school rooms. The main auditorium, have ing, with its gallery, an aggregate headi ng capacity of 1,200 persons, will be on the second floor. Samuel Plato of Marion, Ird, has the general contract for the erection of the structure We. C.
