She was a social favorite with Thomasville people and occupied the Smith cottage on Jackson Street, during her stay her© in 1902. Many Thomasville friends who have kept in touch with her since that time were shocked at this news and can not account in any way for itParis, June „3.—Miss Margaret Cravens, of Madison, Ind., commit-ted suicide tWs morning in her apartments at 29 Rue du Colise. She shot herself through the heart with a revolver, death being instantaneous. _ Miss Cravens received a letter from America, Friday, whichV ' «seemed to affect her greatly.She was a member of a well-known Indiana family and was believed to have considerable private means. She came to Paris five or six years ago to study music. ,
