M. lodge; was a veteranof the Civil War, Company D. 8th Ky.Vol.; was a member of the Baptist church in good standing. He leaves a widow who was Miss Margarett Durbin, and three sons, James E- Johu C. and William D. Hilton and four daughters, Mrs. Will McCulIum, of Rockford, and Mrs. J. T. Bailey, of Bailey’s;.' Switch, Mrs. W. F. Tubbs, of j J Knoxville, and Mrs. J. T Blank- j * enship, of Ettawah, Tenn., to t mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent father and husband.
