non.John Hilton died at his home atBailey’s Switch June 3rd, 1907 ot pneumonia fever. He was born indEccBtCOwsley couuty, Ky., July 28th1841; was a member of Mt. VernonF. and A. M. lodge; was a veteranof the Civil War, Company D. 8th Ky.Vol.; was a member of the Baptist church in good standing. He leaves a widow who was Miss Margarett Durbin, and three sons, James E- Johu C. and William D. Hilton and four daughters, Mrs. Will McCulIum, of Rockford, and Mrs. J. T. Bailey, of Bailey’s;.' Switch, Mrs. W. F. Tubbs, of j J Knoxville, and Mrs. J. T Blank- j * enship, of Ettawah, Tenn., to t mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent father and husband. So man j lieth down and riseth not, till the : heavens be no more. They shall not awake nor be raised out oftheir sleep. A Friend.1
