Steamer Barnstable Ashore. A dispatch received yesterday from Kingston, Ja maica, advises the United Fruit Company that the steamer Barnstable, Captain Davison, which sailed from this port on May 31 for that island, is ashore in St. Ann's Bay, one of the ports of call for fruit west of Port Antonio. No further particulars were received. The Barnstable was due to sail from Port Antonio last night with fruit for Baltimore. Mr. C. C. Buckman, manager of the Baltimore divi sion, was not apprised of the accident to the ship, but a dispatch received last night reported the Barnstable having grounded leaving St. Ann’s bay early in the morning, but after a few hours’ deten tion she succeeded in floating herself uninjured.
